  • ESP Assembly: The ESP Council and President Support Team have partnered to bring you two very important supports in one location. Nov. 9, 10 a.m. – noon, IEA Champaign office. Informational flierAll ESP members welcome!

 

 

  • ESP STAR Award: The ESP Council created the ESP STAR program to allow local leaders to recognize and publicize the good work of their ESP members across the state monthly. Use the online nomination form to nominate a special ESP member for a STAR Award!

 

  • IEA Representative Assembly (RA):

-Legislative Platform: The IEA Legislative Committee encourages any IEA member who has emerging legislative issues of importance to them or the stakeholders they represent to make an online legislative platform amendment submission. Both the IEA Legislative Platform and amendment form can be found on the Members Only section of the IEA website under Legislative and Political Action. The deadline to submit an amendment is Jan. 10. If you have any questions, please contact the IEA Government Relations Department.

-Proposed Bylaw Amendments for 2020 IEA RA – due Dec. 11. More information.

-RA Assistants needed! IEA-Representative Assembly, March 5-7, 2020, Hyatt Regency O’Hare – Rosemont

 

  • Well-Being Survey: The Illinois Education Association (IEA) and the University of Illinois Springfield invites members to participate in the Illinois Educator Well-Being Survey. The purpose of this survey is to examine how the climate and culture of your workplace impacts the quality of your life. The IEA will use this data to develop and improve programs and services that support members’ well-being in the workplace.

This survey is voluntary and will take approximately ten minutes to complete. Data collected as part of this survey will remain confidential. See the informed consent document for additional information. The survey will close on Dec.1.
