NUMA News: November 2018

Congratulations to:

Mike Gulczynski, new Head Custodian at Prairie
Zach Ward, new Head Custodian at 5th Avenue
And, even though it means he is no longer a NUMA member, congratulations to Naperville Central High School’s new facility manager Temo Zarate.
We are always proud to see NUMA members taking the step up into leadership roles and we know you will all excel in your new positions.

More good news

While we’re in the congratulatory spirit, I would like to pass along a big THANK YOU from our friends over in Human Resources to all NUMA members for completing their annual benefits enrollment before the deadline. Great job, gang!

Speaking of Human Resources…

With our recently adopted policy of guaranteeing interviews to NUMA members applying for NUMA bargaining unit positions, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • If you see a job posted that you would like to apply for, get your application in ASAP. It is important to get these positions filled in a timely manner, so some will have a closing date listed on the posting. If there is a closing date on the job posting, That date is the LAST DAY TO SUBMIT AND APPLICATION AND BE GUARANTEED AN INTERVIEW. While you are welcome to submit as long as the post is up, any submissions received after that date may not be considered for the interview process.
  • If you would like assistance with submitting an application for a posted position, updating or attaching your resume, or logging on to see the current job postings HR will be happy to meet with you to help you navigate the process. You can email Amrita Nijjar , Nieta Gates  or Gretchen Gallois to set up an appointment for assistance.

Call for Candidates- NCHS & NNHS Building reps

With all of the moves and shuffling taking place lately, we are in need of building representatives at both of the high schools! If you are interested or have questions feel free to contact any Executive board officer. Contact information can be found on the Contact page of this site.
